John H. Ehrlich serves as Chief Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago Law Department in the Torts Division.  John received his undergraduate and law degrees from Northwestern University where he now serves as an adjunct law professor.

John served on the Board of Directors of the Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago and on the Alliance of Bar Associations for Judicial Screening.  He is also a member of the Chicago Council of Lawyers and served on the Board of the AIDS Living Remembrance Project.

John and his partner of 12 years, Dr. Ulf N.R. Henricsson, D.N., live in the Lakeview neighborhood with their yellow Labrador, Jesper.
